Create your own sports day at home
As we celebrate National School Sports Week, we’re challenging everyone to get moving by creating their own sports day at home. Let’s bring the fun, excitement, and friendly competition of sports day into our homes and gardens.
Sports day is not just about the races and the ribbons; it’s about the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of movement. So, get the family together, choose your teams and let’s get started!
Ideas for your sports day at home

Egg and spoon race
This one is an old favourite and all you need is a spoon and a small ball or an egg. But if you’re indoors, we recommend a ball; we don’t want any eggy mishaps on the carpet!

Sack race
These races are all about balance and coordination, and they’re guaranteed to cause a few giggles along the way too! Don’t worry if you don’t have sacks, pillowcases work just as well.

Obstacle course
Use what you have in your home or garden to create a fun obstacle course. This could include jumping over cushions, crawling under tables or zigzagging between plant pots.

Balloon volleyball
All you need is a balloon and a piece of string for a net. This game can be played indoors or outdoors and is a great way to improve hand-eye coordination.

Dance off
Create a playlist of your favourite songs and have a family dance-off. This is a great way to get everyone moving and grooving.
Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the process. Share your sports day at home photos and videos with us by tagging us on social media @beezeehealth. We can’t wait to see how you bring the spirit of sports day into your homes!
Stay healthy, stay active, and keep having fun.
